Forefront is excited to welcome the new FIS Cohort 3, as well as returning Cohorts 1 & 2 to the Annual Fall Academy to help prepare for the new school year! With your feedback we’ve made substantive improvements to training curriculum, program implementation and tools aimed at fostering cross-school collaboration. We’re incredibly excited to share these updates with you and look forward to providing you with the foundation skills needed to catalyze culture change and prevent youth suicide. There will be something for everyone at this year’s Fall Academy; highlights include:

• Advanced LEARN training for ESA’s (3.0 hrs) with heavy focus on screening and safety planning
• Role of Schools in Preventing Suicide (3.0 hrs) focuses heavily on crisis prevention planning and postvention protocols
• Leadership – Understanding your formal and informal role in building a successful school team
• Updated FIS portal providing support on needed resources, tools, and information exchange

New schools must send full teams of 6-8 individuals as outlined in your welcome packet.

Lunch and beverages included. 

Sub-Reimbursement: We will reimburse your school/district for up to 2 substitutes not to exceed $175.00
NOTE:  Reimbursement is only available for the Forefront Fall Academy Training event.
