Forefront in the Schools
Fall Academy 2019

Each year we host a Fall Academy to help prepare our Forefront schools in their efforts towards creating and sustaining a comprehensive model for suicide prevention. This is a time to incorporate new information, connect with other school teams and feel better prepared in meeting goals as outlined in the Forefront in the Schools program.

As we head into year two you can expect to learn more about depression and anxiety in teens, mental health training for teachers, parent training refresher, screening in schools, the big reveal of our new web-based portal for accessing materials and resources and hear about our new digital data collection system.
Our expectation is that your team of 6-8 individuals will attend the full day training.
