FIS Training: How to Use Your HYS Data

This year, thousands of Washington State students will be surveyed.

Every other year students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12 provide us information about their perceptions of school climate, risk behaviors, safety, violence, and related risk and protective factors.  Participation in the Healthy Youth Survey has many benefits for schools applying for grants, strategic planning and evaluating school-wide prevention/intervention efforts.  Many schools already participate.  If you do not, we hope that you will register your school to participate.

A link describing the survey and the registration process is here: http://www.askhys.net/Registration/HowTo

Forefront Training Opportunity – How to Use Your HYS Data

This information can be very helpful as you plan and evaluate your school’s social emotional learning activities.  Forefront will be conducting a training this spring about how to interpret and use your own data.
